SacValley MedShare will have a booth at the annual Wellness Expo at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA on November 02, 2019. The event runs from 10am - 2pm. We will have information available on our HIE and have SVMS "swag" to give away along with a neat raffle prize. Stop by the fair and get your flu shots and learn about community wellness. Mayers Memorial Hospital District brought live this week their interface for contributing CCDA's to our exchange. This will greatly enhance the interoperability of healthcare data for our patients in rural Northern California.
Three members have gone live contributing four feeds of data to SacValley MedShare. Vibra Hospital, a long-term post-acute care hospital in Redding, CA and Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville, California are contributing Admit, Discharge, Transfer messages including Allergies and Abstracts. NorthBay Medical Center based out of Fairfield with multiple clinics and a hospital in Vacaville, have expanded their data contribution by adding lab results and radiology reports.

Today, SacValley MedShare brought live their connection to UCSF via Eheatlh eXchange. This will provide residents of Northern California from the Oregon border down through the SVMS territory who have care at UCSF, the ability for their providers who are members of SVMS to have access to their records with the click of a button. This expands the SVMS reach for our patients to include 4 academic medical centers.
At the Board of Directors meeting on August 8, 2019, SacValley MedShare voted to replace the Vice-Chair position vacated by Chris Jones, with Tony Evans, CIO of Enloe Medical Center. Dr. Kevin Dorsey-Tyler was ratified as a non-voting member. Michael Conti, Technology Manager and County Privacy Officer for Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency was also placed on the board, filling the voting member seat vacated by Dr. Dorsey-Tyler.
